I get so happy every time I look at this flower wreath! It’s bursting with loveliness, not to mention you may save over $300 on it.
See this $344.00 peony flower wreath? OK, I do love to support artisans and makers, so if you want to buy it, totally do!!
But for those of you who love to craft and make a creative mess, you could DIY one just as gorgeous, for $15.

AND, have loads of fun doing it (just check out the video tutorial below to see how easy it is! ), AND, make as many as you ever want to give as gifts…
All you need to make this wreath( some of the helpful resources are affiliate links. Full disclosure here. ) are 15 to 18 bunches of artificial flower bouquets depending on how full the flowers are, a dry cleaner’s hanger, and pliers to cut the flower stems.
This one mintue video will show you all the fun!

I saw these pretty peony flowers at a Dollar Tree Store, and knew they would be perfect. I did not want only peonies, so I mixed in some Daffodils and Daisies. Feel free to improvise on the color combinations and flower choices!
Step 1: how to make a wire wreath frame quickly and easily from a dry cleaner’s hanger.

Take a hanger and bend the 2 pointed ends first, then push it down along the sides of a 5 gallon bucket, use the bucket to help forming a circular shape.

Step 2. prepare flowers to make flower wreath
Cut the flowers off the main step, leaving a 4” to 5” long stem at the base of each flower, and the leaves on the stem too.

Important tip: look closely at the image below to see how to shape the stem of each flower. The loop is where the flower would go onto the wire frame later, and the bend at the tip keeps the leaf from falling.

Step 3. add flowers to wire wreath form

Open up the hanger wire frame. String each of the flowers through those loops we made in Step 2.

After closing the wire loop, if the hook is showing too much, just bend and twist it a little, so it’s hidden behind the flowers.

Here is a summary of 5 helpful tips on making a flower wreath:

- It is so easy to assemble the flower wreath, you can take it apart and mix different colors as the season changes.
- Add more flowers if the flowers slide too much on the wreath.

- If you skipped it, make sure to look closely at the image on how to shape the stem of each flower!
